Hi fellow Wizards and Necromancers!
Many of us love a nice purity seal when we see it but it can be quite challenging to paint them well enough. I don't usually call my own work good nor do I think that that would be cool, but I know that I am quite well known for painting parchments, purity seals and freehanding text in genetal. At the same time I know how much of a daunting task it might seem to paint awesome parchments and purity seals if you haven't done it about 17 million times like I have haha. That is why I wanted to create the ultimate tutorial about this topic and showcase how I do it, in 3 different ways, 2 of which I use on my Golden Demon pieces. If you follow my advice from this tutorial and practice, you will become a master of freehanding text, I believe in you! Trust me, I have been terrible at painting these before but it really just takes practice and right guidance.
Here are the paints used:
1. Ushabti Bone for the basecoat and later for the highlights on the parchment and the wax seals.
2. Seraphim Sepia Shade for the shading of the parchment.
3. Ivory for the highlights on the parchment.
4. Black for the text.
5. Mephiston Red for the basecoat of the red wax seal.
6. Evil Sunz Scarlet for the highlights on the red wax seal.
7. Yriel Yellow for the mix with red and green for the highlights the wax seals.
8. Troll Slayer Orange for the highlights on the red wax seal.
9. Xereus Purple for the basecoat of the purple wax seal.
10. Caliban Green for the basecoat of the green wax seal.
I really hope this tutorial will be helpful to some of you!
Thank you very much for watching and supporting me. It means the world to me. Truly!
