The magic of money as with that a lot problems can disappear...at least in the normal world. Acting like that could invite all sorts of trouble with the supernatural world as they can not tell who has a connection to it or not. Once you get on the wrong side of someone from the supernatural world all the money in the world would not be enough to save an normal person with no connection to it themselves
