I was thinking about replicating that scene is because I saw the elements from tv episode heroes, and wonder if you still have interest in replicating other ones, and in my original thought I wasn’t taking considerately into the sand texture which is you just mentioned that is even harder to achieve, but I thought that hespera’s power was turning people into like sandy rock, which the color is just the attention, and the shatter part should just presented like break into large body part( I wanna say that I don’t like the effect of shattering into too much and tiny pieces). For Wonder Woman, she is definitely sort of sexual fetish idol for me, so if you have spare time and take my suggestion I absolutely appreciate that.

Every single shard is handcrafted, but the kind of sand-like crumbling you see in movies I can’t pull that off yet. Honestly, she’s actually the main character in a future story. This scene is meant to be part of the main plot, though. And if you’d like to see her, I can definitely make some close-up shots just for you.
