One thing to note about newjeans is that the NWJMX album is not an official album but a remix album. So far they have not released a full length album yet however they have released a really good EP in summer 2023 titled “Get Up” with just 6 tracks (one being an intro and another an interlude) and it’s a visual album in the sense that every song has a music video. And since every song has a music video I would do the reaction to the music videos with the captions right away but if you find it distracting you can definitely watch a lyric video before every track it’s perfectly fine. The lyrics on this ep are very easy to digest I will note but there are two songs with a MV storyline so if you don’t want the captions to distract you on those that’s also perfectly fine.
