I’m pretty sure Sabrina actually said that Singular act I is like the outer part of her like what she’s like/shows in public and that Act II is more like her inner world and mind -- which is why the album cover for Act I is her on a crowded staircase and the album cover for Act II is her by herself on a staircase. I don’t remember what interview she said that but it matches with how you interpreted both albums at the end which is pretty cool.
