If you recall, in the Thank You Next song there's a lyric "One day I'll walk down the aisle, holding hands with my momma, I'll be thanking my dad cause she grew from the trauma". But then, not long after Thank You Next came out, she and her father started talking again and repaired their relationship. This brought a lot of happiness to her and she finally felt whole again. So I think that's why in the video, he pieces her together after she's torn apart.
