The beginning of Taylor’s conflict with Scooter Braun was when Scooter Braun was there guiding Kanye West (he was his manager at the time) to call Taylor and illegally record and falsely edit a phone call where they made it sound like she gave him permission to say “I made that b*tch famous” about her in his song Famous and also use a naked image of her in bed with him in the music video. Kanye then put out that content to her shock and she was rightfully offended. The edited phone call was posted where they made it look like Taylor consented to that. Kim then bullied Taylor on Twitter calling her a snake and claiming she was playing the victim for something she had agreed to. #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty with snake emojis went trending on Twitter with millions of people tweeting how much they hate Taylor Swift. After that Taylor disappeared for a year from the public eye. She returned by posting a video of just a slithering snake. And she made snakes the symbol of this era to reclaim the snake because Kim used snakes to destroy her reputation. You can also see why Taylor was so upset when Scooter Braun bought her old music during the Lover era and tweeted “I just bought Taylor Swift”. He had already screwed her over and helped destroy her reputation.
