2025-08-04 15:38:18 +0000 UTCWhen season 4 was released, they only released up to this episode. We had to wait about 2 months to watch the final two episodes, it was crazy

2025-08-04 11:09:10 +0000 UTCIt's such a great episode! What I do feel like we need to put into context with the bullies in the lab is that they're children, all of them. They grew up in this environment from the day they were born, they never knew anything else and their only "care taker/parental figure" is Brenner. They look up to him, they want his approval desperately. So to me everything they're doing is Brenners fault and failure. They never got the love and care that children need to develop in a healthy way. Even with Vecna/1, he was still a child when all of this started, he didn't get the help he needed, though I truly don't know how to help a child like that lol. I'm so excited about your reaction to the season finale and can not wait for the new and last season to come later this year!

2025-08-04 09:52:20 +0000 UTCI think it makes sense in the writing sense as we see in this episode because Nancy is looking at Steve more that way she did in season 1 which triggers her trauma of Barb as we see in the flashes in the pool of their time together. I think its a good tie in to get to that Barb trauma to get Nancy into the Vecna mind. Rather than just her thinking about Barb again since she hasn't mentioned her since season 2.

2025-08-04 07:12:25 +0000 UTCVecna targets teenagers because they're easier targets. Growing up sucks and young people who have gone through trauma are more vulnerable than most adults who manage to develop coping mechanisms.

2025-08-04 06:47:53 +0000 UTCYEPP, I knew this episode would be shocking. It's a masterpiece isn't it? This is what we call CINEMA!! Also, this is the most minor thing in the grand scheme of things but I HATE the Nancy and Steve stuff this season. I always felt like there's no need for it and it actually regressed their character arcs a little bit. I'm a Jancy shipper through and through and they've been building up and developing that ship since season 2. This felt like a slap in the face lol
