some changes :)

heyhey!

arrived back from my trekking holidays yesterday morning... here we go again!
warning: long textwall ahead :D 

time for "the news" i announced two weeks ago... as you all know i am generally fine in terms of money but still piracy is annoying. not because it takes away that much income, its more about motivation meanwhile.

a friend of mine owns a little company that is producing... you never guess... adult games :D they use painted anime styled girls, so 2D stuff and business is running very fine. he tried to talk me into it since meanwhile 4 years to work with him and finally we did a test run this year. sales went through the roof so we sealed the deal last week, he was also on this hiking week with us.

basically it is some kind of 3D addon for existing 2D girls. rebuilding an animegirl in 3D, rendering one idle pic, two easy basic animations and around 15 "reward cards" pics from it... takes me around two weeks. so not a real big deal, same amount of time that i need for a smaller set with 35 pics. interesting part is the payment... talking in dollars its 5000$ for each of these sets. no, its no mistype, its really that number :) no schedules, no deadlines, everything stays same for me as it is now. the more i deliever the more i get paid.

some of you, maybe the most may ask why i am even wasting my time writing these lines and not simply quit from 3DX now and never been seen again... yes i could do two girls each month now and getting my 10k or have two weeks vacation time each month.

but then i would dump everything i built up the last seven years from my own hands in one second. not gonna happen :) so i decided to do one girl each two months for the moment. means i cut off one week each month for this project and three weeks remain for my business as usual... just completely without caring for sales or anything any longer :D just trying to keep my patreons happy because you supported me all that time and it would have never worked out without you.

so whats the best option now? i think lowering the tiers from 5,10,15 to 5,8,10 or something like that is fair. then nobody can complain about 3 instead of 4 weeks as prices dropped. i will loose roughly around 30% of my patreon income this way but who knows... in the end more patreons could join because of those lower prices and hopefully will be the same. have to figure that out and how it can be changed without annoying issues the next weeks.

i guess i forgot half of all the things i wanted to tell but maybe edit it in later on :) so what you think about the lowered tiers? does it sound fair for you? feel free to write here... or pm... as you prefer.
