First off, thanks for being good sports about our April Fool's gag. Obviously we are neither bought out by DC nor merging with Comic Book Cast. One gag was for Twitter, the other for Facebook. Ah... Good times.
Anyway, we're re-tooling Off the Rack. It seems a lot of you want recaps and recommendations more than you want reviews. Well, I don't care. It's a review show. And while I fundamentally dislike giving comics away for free, I think there's a way to do it while also not eating into actual comic book sales. Ultimately, we'd like Off the Rack 2.0 to be a one-stop-shopping for every comic book fan. Less cursing, fewer tangents, more info. We're gonna try this focusing on the new X-Men Prime #1 and see where it goes.
Back Issues this week is Superman/Batman: Supergirl. That's right-- we're doing the Post-Crisis Jeph Loeb Supergirl origin. It's gonna be fun!
Letters Page this week is about as massive and epic as last week's. Hope you're in for it!
We also had The Bard back for a special recorded edition of The Elseworlds Exchange! We chat about D&D for almost an hour and a half. I think if you have even a passing interest in RPGs, you're gonna wanna tune in.
