ComicPOP Updates!

Hey everybody! Welcome to the ComicPOP Patreon Weekly Update! Obviously, this is where I give you a rundown of what to expect this week, and some behind the scenes updates about what we're working towards.

Good, Bad and Ugly returns on Monday with a Venom special. We took three first issues of three different Venom minis from the 90s and damn were they bad... That said, we also invite everyone to let us know if they want us to do a sequel. MORE bad Venom mini series? Because, y'know... they made a lot of them.

We never really know what the topic for Elseworlds is going to be until about an hour before we start, but I am planning on trying some new things with the show. New hosts, new topics, but the same format. We'll see. We have all these amazing people here at ComicPOP, why not have everyone we can? The only problem is availability. So it's a pipedream, but still one we hope to work towards.

We've shot two new Letters Page episodes. Just a question of cutting them and getting them ready for Friday release.

And finally, Back Issues this week will be Avengers/X-Men: Bloodties. It's... It's something else. We hope you enjoy it. And for our $20 Patrons, you hopefully already have!

We're pushing GBU to every other week for three reasons. First one: it takes time to decide what books we're going to do. Second: editing takes awhile. And finally: we like doing those discussions ala Marvel's Mistakes, and we want to try to alternate between those. So GBU comes out Monday, and next Monday hopefully should be a new discussion. That's the plan, at any rate.

We're ALSO sprucing up the office and changing a few sets. Back Issues remains, but the Letters Page/former Off the Rack set needs an overhaul. Also we finally moved all the back issues to the office, so we have to make room for them. We have a LOT of comics...

Thank you all so much for keeping us employed! We truly wouldn't be viable without this incredible help from you, specificially. YouTube remains uncertain and it's kind of scary sometimes, but Patreon makes it so there's no need to ever stop.
