Does Back Issues need a couch?
Added 2020-11-01 23:28:58 +0000 UTCI love it as much as the next person. But I wanted to know honestly, we decided to ditch the couch, would that be too much change?

The almighty couch is a staple of BackIssues that makes it feel like you're hanging out with friends. However, while I do love the couch, I suppose if you could achieve the same effect without it, it would be okay to admit the couch from the equation.

2020-11-05 20:32:13 +0000 UTCThe couch makes it feel like it's not a show and just friends talking about comics (or being educated by the main nerd of the bunch)

2020-11-02 16:03:08 +0000 UTCAs long as you guys will be comfortable, I 'm not too attached to the couch. I mean, you aren't going to be standing the whole time, I hope, or sitting on yoga balls, or something torturous like that? That said, it might be fun to see Tiffany push one of you off of a yoga ball...

2020-11-02 14:55:10 +0000 UTCI feel Back Issues works much better with a couch. Without a couch it would feel too much like GBU or any other show. I mean if y’all laid on a bed or all had lounge chairs that might work lol. But Back issues being relaxed and comfortable for y’all makes it have the nice atmosphere.

2020-11-02 06:22:19 +0000 UTCYou guys have done shows on a bed, standing, at a table, on several couches.......I think you guys are more than flexible enough to change things up

2020-11-02 06:21:01 +0000 UTCThe first year there was no couch.

2020-11-02 04:38:01 +0000 UTCI like the couch. But you guys are what make the show!

2020-11-02 04:00:32 +0000 UTCHave you done it? Have you found something more comfortable to sit in than a couch? I MUST KNOW!

2020-11-02 03:09:57 +0000 UTCYou don't need a couch, just a friendly atmosphere. Especially if you wanted a guest nowadays

2020-11-02 02:57:27 +0000 UTCIs no-couch a dealbreaker for me? No. I do think the couch brings a nice atmosphere to the show though. If you guys felt you needed to get rid of the couch for some particular reason, I think you should get rid of it. I guess, all things being equal, I just like the couch.

2020-11-02 02:04:37 +0000 UTCI like the atmosphere the couch represents i actually associate you guys with the couch and that's how I describe your channel to people, friends hanging out on a couch talking comics

2020-11-02 00:31:25 +0000 UTCSome of the old episodes don't have the couch, and they are no less Back Issues. I trust you to keep relaxed attitude/environment in a less linear seating/standing arrangement.

2020-11-01 23:55:33 +0000 UTCI like the couch but voted don't need. I think if GBU works well without a couch but still looks like a relaxed group with a story telling feel maybe Back Issues will be the same

2020-11-01 23:46:27 +0000 UTC2 questions would it still remain everyone sitting together hanging out and can I buy the couch 🤣

2020-11-01 23:35:58 +0000 UTCI voted don’t need... but I do think the environment needs to remain relaxed. Part of the appeal of back issues to me is that I’m peering into a real hangout between friends.
