In an ideal world, I think separating them would improve convenience of listening to a larger audience. I think it's mainly a matter of ease of playing if a person prefers to listen to one over the other.
However, I also understand the expense of hosting two different podcasts and how that may add up. That's where I don't think think it's necessary to separate. The naming convention helps differentiate the shows enough. Ultimately, I think it comes down to convenience and personal interest in each show.

I don’t stay up to date with the latest comics and I read Marvel through the unlimited app, so if I listen to Off The Rack some of them get spoiled. I also wouldn’t mind Back Issues audio being put on the same feed as Elseworlds Exchange

Here is my main concern. Off the Rack is time-sensitive while Elseworlds Exchange isn't. I could see someone who would want to join and listen to both shows, but would want Elseworlds Exchange separate so they can binge listen.
