Updates for the week!

Hey everybody! Let's get to some updates, shall we?

Getting back in the studio today with the boys to record a Back Issues and a GBU, but not just any GBU-- we're going to immediately try to implement the Single Issue spotlight format. The idea is once in awhile, we're all going to read a single issue and just focus on that. If we get to it, this week will be Spider-Man Special Edition: The Trial of Venom. You know-- that one comic you couldn't get unless you gave UNICEF five bucks! No? You don't remember that? Oh.

Elseworlds is still going strong. Jim Zub is coming by to help me explain the importance of pre-orders at some point in the near future. I've got a special bonus audio-only episode planned with Tristan Jones (comic artist from Aliens) to talk about art swipes and more. That one was actually made possible thanks to a mutual friend. It's rare that someone comes to me with a creator to be like "Do you wanna do this?" So we'll see how it goes. But I doubt it'll be a normally-released Elseworlds episode. Joel is returning soon, though. We've got at least three ideas ready to go, and any one of them could be an episode next week.

Off the Rack is all good. Very pleased with it, thus far. Every once in awhile I think about how to improve it and the only thing I can think of is having a producer. We don't have that, but it would be cool to have someone offscreen conducting the chat and inserting cover images and pages while we're talking. Literally that's the only thing I can think of to make the show better. Bring back pictures. I think everyone agrees with that, too. I'll try to see what I can do about that.

We also filmed a Back Issues with Tiff hosting. She picked up these crazy JLA stories that nobody talks about, so we're gonna cover those at some point. They're fun and the art is insanely great. I'm cutting that now, actually.
