Updates!

Hey guys! It's been a minute, so let's go over what's new!

A few weeks ago, Tiffany caught me looking around the studio and asked what was up. I expressed my joy in having the space and all the opportunities it's afforded me, but I was just not happy with the setup. In all honesty I had been researching studio spaces, YouTuber spaces, TV and movie productions, and even top tier comic and book shops for inspiration and nothing was coming up. Nothing I found reflected what I'm looking for in our studio.

I know what I want, but I'm not sure how to get there. Thankfully Tiffany took the hint and got to work on a plan of action to facilitate a few basic needs:

- designated sets for filming
- an official storage area for equipment and items we don't regularly use
- a sitting/common area for the team
- a library that houses ALL the comics

All this work rearranging, sorting and deciding has resulted in an upside down studio with stuff, furniture and supplies everywhere, and it's been kind of overwhelming. But I'm happy to report that the kitchen area is finished, and the library is really close to being done. And lemme tell you-- it's so much better than it was.

I'm still underneath tons of stuff, I've got supplies to prioritize, old stuff to sell or trade, we need a better handle on the streaming area, and we need more storage furniture for the designated storage room. But it's actually coming together and the stuff that's not even half finished looks better than it did a year ago.

The reason I'm talking about it now is because I'm looking to be better inspired, and having a dope ass creative space helps so much I can't even properly express it.

Don't let that fool you, though. Plenty of ideas, plenty of plans currently in the hopper. But my hope for you guys is that for every year you watch us, you will see a marked increase in quality overall. From cameras and sound to set design to concepts to executing the shows themselves, I want you to be like dang, comicpop gets better every day.

So what's this week look like? Well we finally did Bloodlines on Back Issues. That's huge. We have at least four episodes shot with more on the way. And when the set is done, GBU will be even better with my new changes to it. Off the Rack just needs to look a little better and I think we've hit a good rhythm. And Elseworlds.... idk. I'm working on it. But Sean Murphy is finally coming by next week, so that should be fun!

Lots more to come! Both channels are hitting their marks. I'd love CPR to grow faster and build its own kind of audience, but we've got plenty of time.
