you need to open the x2m using winrar, just right click and open it like you would open any other rar file, you won't need to convert anything, after you open it with winrar you should see the XML file inside, just edit it and save it

I love Kill la Kill, but when I try to install this mod it asks me for a more updated version of the game. I saw in the other comments that you mention editing the XML file, and I already did that, but I don’t know how to convert it back into an x2m. I tried converting it into a .rar and then changing the .rar to .x2m, but it won’t let me install it. I try, and nothing happens, as if the file doesn’t open or something like that. Could you give me some advice, please?

EDIT: Another idea is the Ember Celica from RWBY, but I think just making a Yang outfit with those as the gloves would make more sense in that case.
