This week's update!

Hey gang! Here's the skinny!

We just had a panel at Zapp Comic Con in Wayne, NJ this past Saturday and it was amazing! Small show, right near town, and we met so many unbelievable members of the POPulation who were so amazingly kind and generous and thoughtful. It's so in-keeping with what we've come to expect from you guys, but when it happens in person it's so overwhelming.

Anyway, we just dropped our Top 7 video for this week. It's Female Superheroes who should have their own movie. It's fun, hope you like it! We'll be resuming our usual Elseworlds with Joel on Wednesday, and debuting our first ever MANGA Back Issues that night! Let me tell you-- we went ALL OUT on this one. We built a set, it clocks in at over an hour and a half long, and I adore the reactions from Ben and Ethan. I hope you like it. And if you do, we'd love it if you shared it around. But if not, we still love how it came out. Letters Page will continue as well, and we're working on a fun dinosaur-themed episode of Good, Bad, and Ugly.

And just between us Patron people, that Court of Owls announcement I made on Twitter (and if you missed it, on April Fool's Day I told everybody we filmed a Court of Owls episode of Back Issues)... we really did. It was an hour and forty-five minute shoot, but I think it'll still be at about 1:30 or less. But yeah, I wanted to cast doubt about whether we'd ever do it, but we did it and it was really fun. Like Clone Conspiracy fun. I hope y'all agree.

But before you get to that, you've gotta catch this week's Manga episode about... Sailor Moon! That's right. It's silly and ridiculous and completely out of left field, but I think if you like this show, if you like the hosts, if you like us at all, you'll love how it turned out. Then the next week will be Ultimate Spider-Man: Venom! And after that, Court of Owls. Unless I feel like swapping them. It'll depend. And it looks like, according to the poll I posted all over the place, our upcoming Alien Day Back Issues is going to be Green Lantern/Aliens. Which suits me just fine ;)

Before I go, I want to say thank you to the new members of the Patreon for joining us, and as always a huge thank you to the incredibly generous and loyal members of the Patreon who've been here for awhile. Without you, we can't try these fun, new ideas.

OH MAN! I almost forgot... Wait, you know what? I'll get to it later. I touched base with two different groups on two different shows, and if either of them pan out it'll be amazing! Hang in there, gang. Trust me!

Yours always,

Sal
