This week, we needed to swap OTR and GBU's release days. So OTR came out today, and GBU will come out tomorrow. Ethan's gone, we needed to shoot two different days this week, and I had a side gig I absolutely needed to go to NYC to cover, which all kept me from being able to cut this week's GBU until today. But it's done, it's exporting, and I love it. Hope you do, too! It's alternate timeline forgotten X-Men teams. Ridiculous.
This week's Back Issues is God Country. I love how this episode came out, but it's an indie so it'll do horribly compared to a Batman book. Let's try to prove that tradition wrong by pushing the hell out of this episode! Stuff like this allows us to try new things on Back Issues, stuff you might never normally see.
Elseworlds is happening, as is a Letters Page. We have a couple in the can, I just need to find two freaking minutes to cut them all. Love how they came out in filming, so we'll see how it does with editing.
Sorry it's a little brief, today! You may have seen our fun new brick background. Just a new idea I wanted to see realized. I think it looks pretty cool, but we'll figure out what to do with it more premanently soon.
Thank you guys so much for keeping us in the biz. I saw Red Letter Media closed Pre-Rec down, and they said basically they didn't have the growth they wanted to see. A channel that in 3 years has 100k+ subscribers sounds pretty successful to me, but I guess I don't know when to quit.
