This week's update
Added 2019-03-10 18:11:47 +0000 UTC Hey everybody! sorry it took a while to get back to you, but we are back in the driver seat and ready to ride! ...Sorry about that analogy also.
So first up we have a live Off the Rack which will be happening, but just might have been a little earlier than normal because Tiffany is off from work and as such, we will have exclusive, unfettered access to her insights and hosting. but because we had to skip last week's episode, we will be checking in with a couple of those key books that came out in the previous week that we just really enjoyed and wanted to talk about for a while. But don't worry, Doomsday Clock will definitely be discussed at length.
Just a quickie insight into what I've been up to working on the channel lately, I wanted to mention that I took inventory of a number of shows that we have produced over the last five years and have noticed a shocking amount of eyes on some shows that I have neglected or just chosen not to pursue any further, and maybe that might have been the wrong choice. before I get into them, I'd love for you to think about a show that you love that we don't make anymore and let me know in the comments of this post what that was, regardless of shows that I'm talking about right now.
Okay, so the shows that I noticed were performing better and might come back include our power rundowns, dramatic comics might just make an appearance again, and the one I'm hoping for that I haven't really talked about is a bigger focus on the indie books. I feel like we are one of the only outfits that actually gives them their due with a significant audience, and I think that we are equipped to talk about them more in length and more regularly thanks to Tiffany's interest an experience with her artistic background. it may get a new name and might not really resemble the old show, but spiritually I would like to bring Hack and Splash back.
In a bigger way, though, I would like to really refocus on Comic Line and those casting calls. They were a lot of fun and got new eyes on this old girl of a channel. So I'm hoping to bring those back.
It's a scary and exciting time right now because there's talk of another adpocalypse. We are seeing sharp declines and views across the board on YouTube, and we simply can't avoid that kind of impact. But the good news if you can call it that is that affects everybody and no one is coming out unscathed. That being said, it is nice to know that we are not feeling it nearly as hard as some of our colleagues. I don't want to rely on that, but it's worked that way before.
Not sure what the next Elseworlds episode is going to be, but I can guarantee it will happen on Wednesday, along with a stream from Tiffany on Wednesday as well over on the twitch channel. If you are not looking at the twitch channel, I highly recommend you check it out if you have any interest in video games or the general tone that this channel provides. Tiffany is a calming voice that brings together a nice chunk of really welcoming, friendly people. http://twitch.tv/comicpoptv
I'm happy to report that the buffer has been restored over at back issues, which means I have a choice of episodes that can be released on Wednesday night. If I really get my druthers together and edit the episode we shot this week, I would love for that one to come out first because it's just so fun and so ridiculous.
I'm also happy to say that we have a Bat Issues episode in the hopper and ready to go next week so, not this week. The show is doing okay, so we'll see how this episode pans out.
Don't think I forgot about revamping Letters Page and bringing that back in a big way. I still have a few episodes that need to be released in the old format, but I'm excited to roll out with the new one. of course, you guys are going to play a big part in that because we are going to be pulling questions for discussion exclusively from the Patreon, and I'm counting on all of you guys to be funny and clever and insightful. but I've been kind of hyper focused on building up the back issues buffer which is why some episodes have gone by the wayside seemingly.
Well, that's probably enough for today! I want to thank you all so much for supporting us and keeping us here, because when things like an ad pocalypse hits we don't have to run for the hills or frantically trying and scrape together some new plan. It means we can be innovative and clever and passionate and that is all thanks to you.
Love ya,
Sal

Hack and Splash is a great show that I would definitely love to see make a return. Also I do enjoy the picks for stories to read about a certain character, like your Spider-Man and Batman videos.
