I like this idea and hell it doesn’t even need to be a Holo Game not everyone wants to run around in Holo I bet theirs a decent amount of people who’d rather sit down and play a game like we do today so that would be even easier for Gothic to make since he doesn’t need to come up with anything super new just remake Resident Evil and other games like that with a linear story which will cut down massively on the programming he’d need to do in comparison to his Holo games which allow the players to do whatever they want lol

2024-04-16 16:52:03 +0000 UTCAs a longtime Star Trek fan and nerd, there are some things that are practically required. So, yeah, he checked them out, though he hasn't yet had sex with a hologram. It will. I think his first time with a hologram will have some meaning. Gothic doesn't blame her for asking the question or being concerned, but not giving him the benefit of the doubt, trusting that he has a good reason. There is a difference there. Yes, I wanted their story to be so evil and heinous that no one would balk at using them in this way. An auxiliary craft is definitely on my list and has been for a while now. I'm going to see when it can be inserted organically. It would be there in the database, but as he intends to uplift them, they're mostly raw material at this point. 2024-04-06 21:15:01 +0000 UTCAnother excellent chapter. I laughed when Neela offered Torres a chance to join her and Gothic next time in bed. I FUCKING KNEW IT. I knew Gothic looked at those holo-novels. With how curious Gothic is and the mention they've gotten in DS9 I new Gothic would explore the more erotic holo-novels out there. I imagine he would find them tame in comparison to his life though. I did like Gothic's thoughts on holo sex. With those holo-maids and three sexy holo-doctors it's probably going to come up again. B'Elanna's reaction to the three test subjects was understandable. I would of reacted the same way. At least until I found out what those three did and then I would of held them down myself. With Gothic working on a drone perhaps he'll put Neela and B'Elanna to working on other projects once back on DS9. Gothic has needed a combat drone and some kind of small craft for his ship. Neela and Torres don't get a whole lot of screen time when on DS9 so having them work on vehicles offscreen might be a good idea. When Gothic had his crew downloading useful date he could of had them look for intact military depots to see if there was any heavy equipment left behind that could come in handy.

2024-04-06 20:05:07 +0000 UTCHuh, I've never read the comics, so I can't speak to that. Yes, B'Elanna is a work in progress and is a useful character to provide Gothic with a little push back. He doesn't truly want yes-women, either, so he's not opposed to her opposition, but he does want some trust. IT's a fine line I'm trying to walk with her character and her character development. We'll see if I can get it right.

I've received a shit ton of push back on this little adventure through the multi-verse, people complaining up a storm and demanding that I return back to Star Trek as soon as possible. Sigh... I only have one more universe I absolutely want to visit and grab something in, but I'm not intending to even stay that long there.

Uplifting them could be dangerous as it would allow them the tools to overcome what he put in place to protect them, meaning bad actors could subvert what he's built. But....he's not going to give them all his unique advances and technologies that he's acquired, either. His systems should probably encourage everyone to have as many children as they can to really push the population numbers up more quickly. I also envision his new planetary holding as a way to leverage the intellectual power of millions. It'll take time, but in the children he educates and uplifts, might be a few geniuses. He could eventually give them tasks or problems to solve. It could also serve as a manufacturing base. Thanks for the review and your support! :-)

The chapter already had references to the Stargate universe, so yes, there could be implications to millions of people essentially praying to him. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to reveal who Gothic's other patron is. It might be one of those things that should remain unknown and I'll leave it to the readers to ultimately decide. I got a kick out of "Gothic Continuum". Never before even considered such a thing, but you've now put it in my mind. Thanks for the review and for the support! :-)

2024-04-06 19:28:19 +0000 UTCGothic doesn't actually have any knowledge of the future that would force him to abandon the Star Trek universe, but dimensional travel does allow for the creation of a fallback point that his enemies can't easily access or expect. That's his paranoia talking. In essence, though, he's the owner of Earth itself. Gothic is going to tell the Federation nothing, if he can help it. Keep in mind, when he was pulled into this adventure he was on a 3-4 week journey back from DS9 to Earth, basically doing a shakedown cruise. So he has the time to and excuse already made for a delay. Thank you for your review and your support!

2024-04-06 00:21:12 +0000 UTCI'd say that Gothic might as well Uplift them they are such a small population that it would take Hundreds of years for the Population to reach it's Pre-Wildfire Virus size of 7 Billion even with Federation level technology so they are likely to grow into that knowledge slowly and are less likely to destroy themselves

I curious to see if having his DNA altered, along with a population praying to him, will push him to a higher level of ascension. Some form of a higher being down the road? Maybe the virus slows his aging even more? The Maverick that worked with Q to originally put Gothic in the Star Trek verse, is another Gothic from the multi-verse, and is trying to build a Gothic continuum like the Q continuum?
