Our "Plays" channel
Added 2023-06-22 01:14:32 +0000 UTCWe're in the process of getting monetization back, and it got me to thinking.
As of right now, the channel is where Twitch uploads go, and we were testing the waters of original content with re-uploads of Bonus Round to see if the audience there was interersted in that sort of video. I think overall it was successful (but I do think it's what got us the boot from YouTube).
The original plan was, once monetization came into play, we were going to produce original streams JUST for YouTube and simultaneously stream games to both Twitch and YouTube, and then start making original shows like Bonus Round. But it grew real slow, and obviously we can't make money through it right now, so we're halting a lot of production until we get back to it.
THAT BEING SAID... While we're heading into summer and summer production for us, we want to know what YOU want to see ComicPop Plays become. Everything is up for grabs! It's a Tiffany-run channel, so it's Tiffany-led productions and Tiffany interests. What would you like to see from that? And if it's just gaming streams and live video on the channel, happy to hear it. But tell us!
In the meantime, I'm gonna start uploading again. We've got TONS of gaming streams that can keep the channel running and I'd like to keep those of you who've subbed entertained.
Whatever we get, I'll probably pare down into a new poll we'll run on that channel but it all starts with YOU! Thanks so much, folks.

I’m not big into watching other people play video games, but I do find the gaming industry fascinating. I’d love to watch a Comic Line style show with deep discussions into gaming culture and topics. Like, why have new video games cost $60 for the past 15 years? Even with the cost of making video games going up consistently year after year. Does no one else find that strange? Anyway, happy to support Comic Pop with whatever direction you take.

Where tiff and anyone else who passionate about certain games just sit down for a bit and talk about there thoughts on certain games or game franchises. So for example for spider man related games you have sal, and for Star Wars games you have Ethan, and for the doom series you have Ben. I think also doing some sort of community night like once a month would be good as well. Kinda like how you guys did jackbox during your milestone subscriber streams. There other games that have community interaction like cult of the lamb that tiff can host. Final idea I had is have some sort of like comic pop verse event with the whole crew where you guys compete against each other in a few games and see who the champion gamer is within the crew. Make that a yearly event since that would be something a bit harder to put together
