Naquadah is a super valuable substance, yet Earth has now got this giant asteroid in the solar system that they can mine and use to advance Earth's technology or use it for currency in the wider galaxy, and yet they do nothing. That fanfic said, how about we actually mine this thing and use it to increase our influence and power.

SG-1 introduced a lot of people to Sci-Fi and it lasted so long and spawned several series that kept that interest going strong for a decade plus. One of these days they're going to redo Stargate and hopefully we can fall in love with it again.

2024-07-07 20:09:01 +0000 UTCAgreed I would love to see an Stargate SI however you could boost the Goa'uld a bit, make their domains and military bigger and let the few intelligent Goa'uld be intelligent as the show had to keep them stupid or else Earth would be fucked, actually there is an SI story called Stars bound in Shadows that handles the Goa'uld very as they keep their arrogance but show how their controlled the galaxy for so long, I would suggest checking the site spacebattles as the Author is interactive with the fan when he is posting that story
