2016-04-21 22:29:49 +0000 UTCyou listed some of the concerns i was thinking about. and either i would have to rewrite my patreon model for my subscribers or and make balanced changes for commissions, while not alienating my subscriber base . I'm planning on officially implementing subscriber based raffle rather than my current "throw my your idea" model. As for access to commission work its ultimately up to the customer but i can always have guidelines on how work gets distributed. Ill have to discuss and get more ideas on how things should change., But more so i need to build a structure i can keep to on a weekly basis. Thank you for the input.
2016-04-21 18:56:14 +0000 UTCI'm of two minds: As a fan of your art I think commissions are a great idea, & can serve to grow your fanbase while also supplementing your income. I may even buy couple pieces. However as a Patreon subscriber I worry about whether those of us paying for access to your existing work would still have the same access to commissioned content. Would you stream commissions? Would you post them on Patreon or tumblr? How much time will you commit to commissions vs. sketches for subscribers? Would you needs to update or change your Patreon model entirely? Many artists offer a "monthly commission" or "sketch raffle" tier, so that could be a possibility. Ultimately, it's your call. I hope to support your work in whatever way you choose to share it, but I do worry about missing out.

2016-04-21 17:34:53 +0000 UTCI know a lot of other artists use paypal, but there is a certain amount of trust involved. Any disgruntled commissioner would have the ability to rat you out. I've paid for commissions using giftrocket, google wallet, and even amazon gift cards. I don't have any experience with any of these services as a seller though.

2016-04-20 21:34:11 +0000 UTCA lot of the artists I commission send invoices through paypal or have you send money through paypal as a good/service. Just don't mention what it's for, and the only way they can get you is if they report your paypal, which happened to a friend of mine. =/

2016-04-20 18:13:19 +0000 UTCMost artists I've worked with just send invoices through paypal. Seems pretty no fuss.
