i was thinking of doing a 4-5 panel comic, or would a sketch pile suffice?

I'd be excited to see you make a short comic. I think you have a lot of great ideas for individual scenes; all you need to make a comic is the connecting narrative material to get you from one scene to the next. Your latest post (KD1 in sketches) looks like you have the idea well in hand. Comics are also a great way to build up a fanbase. Though...it seems like once an artist starts making them, it's the only thing fans want to see.
