This update came from a short but powerful crunch — and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Starting now, I’ll be aiming for a biweekly development schedule to keep things more consistent. Most of the core systems are finally in place, which means content creation going forward will be much smoother and easier.
Important:
Due to the scope of changes in this update, old save files will not work. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND to start a new game to experience everything properly.
Full inventory system for both hero and partner
Equip weapon, armor, and accessories with real stat effects
Potions now available in shops
Allocate Strength, Magic, Dexterity, and Vitality
Stats impact HP, MP, damage, defense, and growth
Partner now reacts to how you build her
Most enemies now scale automatically based on your party's level, making combat more balanced and dynamic across progression
Reworked several abilities for better clarity and strategy
Stats, equipment, and consumables are now fully integrated into battle calculations
Previous systems like HP/MP costs, "Protect Partner," and targeted healing are still in place — but now with more depth and tighter balancing
Still some fine-tuning to do, but this is a big step forward toward making battles feel more engaging and reactive
Tracks main quests, side quests, and achievements
Milestones and auto-complete make progress easier to follow
New journal entries for feeding, events, and discoveries
Expanded shop inventory: potions, gear, Red Magical Corset
Full integration with inventory and character builds
Major cleanup of images and audio
File size reduced by nearly 30%
Faster loading and smoother mobile performance
Cleaner UI with better visuals across all screens
Sprite rework for characters and enemies
And yes — Demoness overlap over screens is fully intended 😈
From here, development will shift toward content: new characters, items, expanded story quests and relationship systems.
I’m also working on a way to give higher-tier supporters early access to future builds, likely about a week ahead of public release. More on that soon.
Also — almost forgot to mention:
This update introduces the very first Game Over screen! More will be added in future builds, each with their own unique twist.
