I had a blast :D

I've shown how I recorded vocals in Ardour 5. How I calibrated JACK so it the recordings stay in sync, even when recording with very high latancy (~21 ms).

I've discovered how to slice vocals in Ninjas2, a free sample slicing plugin.

I've shown how I synthesized this amazing TR808-like kick/bass, and a TR808-like snare.

Near the end I've explained what the free DR-14 crest factor meter plug-in does, and how it can help you asses the headroom of your mix. I also touched on what headroom is.

The whole Ardour 5 session of the song "Figuring Out" (WIP) is available for download below! I hereby release the session and all it's contents under CC-BY-NC 4.0 International License. You can remix it, but you can't sell the result (unless I agree to that), plus you have to give me credit for using any of that in your own projects (unless I agree to waive that).
