November 2021 News and Updates

Hey guys! I figured it would be nice to do something like this at the beginning of each month to keep everyone up-to-date with anything Patreon and Art related! This is also a sign/post letting you know that if there are any concerns you want to bring up, go ahead and take a moment to chat with me. 

In this post, I'm going to go over some art plans and potential Patreon changes. 

I'd like to start out by thanking everyone here for, well, being here! I appreciate the support and look forward to posting some more fantastic content here for the month! 

Art Plans

With the holiday season coming up, I'm looking to make my art a little more festive, and I would like to have a Thanksgiving piece up for the 26th! This piece is going to be the winning pick from the Patreon Blimp Poll. My birthday is also on the 23rd, and I'd love to have a few more Bloo-y sketches put together (Cause a lil self-indulgence never hurt anyone).

A big project for the month, however, is going to be the No Nut November Drive currently on Twitter! Since I'm doing weekly updates with that drive, art might come a little slower this month. The drive runs from 11/01-12/01, perhaps a little bit into December depending on what donation goals are met.

That being said, sketch dumps will be happening 11/06 and 11/20. I know it's back-to-back sketch dump weekends, but I want to get that shaped up now. I want to be able to do the poll at the beginning of the month and then work on the winning idea and have it posted for that month. If I keep it offset, then art's going to spill over into the following months, and if it's a holiday-specific piece that's no bueno! (However, I do get it's not always going to be perfectly lined-up, so I'll post art accordingly)

Patreon Updates

I've recently updated the tiers and gave them a lil more Boomph. Any Patron now has access to a monthly sketch raffle and commission discounts (15% for Berry Tier, 25% for Blimp Tier). Since I'm offering the raffle to both tiers, I think Patreon should be okay with that. 

Another new thing I'm doing is Thank-you sketches for new Patrons! All of you currently here should have been messaged by me at this point asking for your request idea! These sketches will be posted as they are completed, and unless given permission by the recipient, will remain Patreon-exclusive!

Speaking of Patreon-exclusive... Poll Art will remain up on Patreon for your eyes only! At 2 finished pieces per month, that means one finished art piece for the public will still be going up every 2 weeks. I also plan on having other exclusive art for you all, but the Poll Art is the 100% guaranteed monthly exclusive piece :)
