studies+ pottery learning
Added 2019-08-31 00:21:10 +0000 UTCa bit of variety here! firstly is some snapshots from my pottery space, working my way through various cup shapes and getting back into practice of consistent throwing . below are cross-sections, where i troubleshooted issues of wall thickness and weight, as well as recorded the silhouette in my sketchbook for further research and experimentation. interesting how rule of thirds still applies even in ceramics!
I'm -finally- back to doing more studies in my sketchbook. its been hard to find the time to do it, so for now I'm keeping in my comfort zone before re-starting the polled study stuff. more in the future
also some juicier stuff! working on some personal designs for a shark and dragon character. i love designing, and i want to get back to it -- especially with female characters. hope you like em~
also trying out just posting the images as opposed to attatching them as files, let me know what you guys prefer!
