Hi folks! ☀️
things are moving forward! Today I would like to share a first glimpse into the course "Form follows Music", which is about music visualization of the Prelude in C by Johann Sebastian Bach. Due to its regular structure, the piano piece is almost perfect to be used as a dataset for generative design. In the video I show you the piece, some early experiments with it I did in 2017 and I code a small app that uses the music as a dataset for a graphical visualization. You can find the related code in the attachment of this post.
Have fun and as always, I'm totally looking forward to hearing from you.
Oh, before i forget it: You may have seen it already, I created a separate channel in Discord for each individual course. Please feel free to share your ideas, your own experiments and suggestions for corrections there.
Greets! ✌️
