Creative Coding for clients - Insights into my work for nytimes.com and IBM

Dear people, ✌️

I hope you are doing well! Today I'm sharing insights into my work for clients and show you how I've been gaining valuable requests via Instagram and other social networks over the past few years. By now I receive such a request almost every week, but since I have limited resources I just cherry pick the projects that go fast and also make sense to me. In this video, I shed some light on the process behind projects for the New York Times and IBM and explain to you exactly how it all went down.

In the meantime, I've heard from a few community members that they've gotten requests from clients via social media as well, which makes me really happy.

If you have any thoughts about this, I would be very happy to hear from you. Have you had any experiences with such requests yourself? Are there better places than Instagram to share your ideas?

Have a great weekend!

Warm greetings, ☀️

Tim

Hi Parker, thanks for your comment! Exactly! I think it's very important for me to emphasize that creative coding can become a kind of individual super tool, one that can make the artist stand out of the masses. And it's really exciting to see what unusual paths such projects take.

Thanks for this! Really cool seeing real world creative coding examples applied to projects for clients. Feels like most examples are personal projects (which are always fantastic, but good to have variety in how creative coding might be used generally)

This type of work is something I’ve been hoping to find but haven’t been sure how to break into it- thanks for this great intro!!
