Creative Coding Inspiration: A conversation wit Tomáš Kostrzeva

This week I would like to share with you a new Conversation that I am very proud of. Tomáš Kostrzeva is from Bratislava, Slovakia. He is a graphic designer and has been an active Patreon member of mine for a very long time. Besides very exciting experiments with color and gradients that he shares on Instagram, he most recently used his creative coding skills in the visual identity for TEDx Bratislava. In the interview he reveals what drives him, how his learning process went and in which direction he is striving. As you can imagine, it makes me incredibly happy and proud to see how people learn, grow and work with my courses.

I'm having a totally exciting time here in Barcelona right now. This week I started my teaching position at Elisava in Barcelona and I'm really looking forward to developing generative graphic design systems with Processing with the students in my seminar "Programming Posters". I am also very happy that Martin Lorenz is also here in town. On Wednesday he gave a talk called "Flexible System Design, 21st Cenury Skill?" at Elisava that I found brilliant. There's a video recoding of the talk, but I have to ask if i may share it here. If yes, I will do it later in the comments. I don't know if you know this yet, but Martin has also been running a Patreon channel and an associated website for some time, all dedicated to systems in design. One more thing: I had the honor to give a talk at a wonderful creative hub in Barcelona called PAU. Brilliant photographer Cara Schanuel captured the evening with her camera.
