2025-02-19 19:45:17 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly from bits of videos, Yeosang and Wooyoung were close friends for a few years before debut, at the time Wooyoung even switched companies to where Yeosang was. A bit before debut San was mainly around Mingi and Yunho but Wooyoung decided to get close to San who at the time wasn’t impressed by being pretty much stuck to by him. Wooyoung eventually got his way and they became very close, they even got matching tattoos that mean something along the lines of friends until death.

So, seonghwa said this about wooyoung, "wooyoung is a troublemaker but you can't help but love him and he knows that, that's the problem". Yes san and wooyoung basically crowned "woosan" and would a introduce themselves as woosan when together. Yes, all ateez members know of their ships and other kpop groups are aware of ships within groups, but ateez be egging it on infront of atinys like crazy they are all fully aware and see some of edits. So with wooyoung and san story, they both didn't know each prior joining ateez. Wooyoung was the last to join the group. He struggled alot with self confidence and had stage fright. San and the members help him alot gain his confidence. San is extremely sweet ( his backstory is just beautiful) and was more close with mingi and yunho but he went out of his way to kinda look after wooyoung like a big brother ( we will in the older videos of ateez) Even wooyoung said this that no can take care of him like San did and he will always be greatful of their friendship. Even their parents are besties and would hang out together.
