2025-06-04 14:13:55 +0000 UTCI remember when the whole MBTI... 16 personalities thing came out and for a hot minute it was all anyone could talk about at work (I am in the UK) ... but it has died down now, or maybe just become normalised idk. It was very much a 'water cooler' moment finding out what personality type you and your mates were, we even had a staff seminar on it where one of the HR reps explained that it could help to understand your colleagues better... all I could think was that we humans love to catagorise things ..even people... as someone who has worked in taxonomy I found it hillarious but also interesting.... I still find some job applications which ask for it, and have read many many many resumes which have it listed .... I don't think I would ever do that ... I think it is a bit of fun, and I personally fluctuate between being a P and J ...alllllll the time, I just sit on that fence 'Percieving' or 'Judging' ... 100% depends on my mood, who is around me and how honest I am feeling lol
