Yeah, I couldn't have grudges hanging around for too long. I want to get back to the fun stuff. Danny's struggles aren't over yet, but hopefully he's moving in the right direction. As for Brian, he may not have been hoping for a fuck, but his intentions will become clear eventually. Don't worry, only six more days until chapter 30 haha

And I understand why it's so difficult for Danny to get over "the incident". It is really a pity that Joseph denies him dares. And I hope that Brian isn't angry that Danny denied him his taste of cock this night. Btw - did I understand it wrang that Brian's intention was a hot fuck in the cubicle? What a pity that we have to wait one more week to read chapter 30...

Mental health is a bit of an interest of mine (as is likely becoming obvious from my stories) and one of the things that I love about writing a story that will cover such a long period is how I will get to play with trauma. Putting something as dramatic as Josh's storyline so early on means I get more time to play out the effect is has on the boys. One of the more notable things about trauma is how it plays out so differently in each person. Some, like Danny, show it immediately and quite obviously. In others, it can take a really long time before the effects show, and even longer to address them. Josh endured almost ten years of abuse. The real-life impact of prolonged mistreatment in minors is genuinely quite horrific, and while it's not my plan to make that Josh's main focus for the rest of his time at the school, I do have six years to show what I hope will be a believable reaction to a terrible experience. Anyway, not to give any spoilers, but very few things that are broken at Kingswood stay broken for long and there are plenty of happy time ahead for everyone. Be sure of that :) Matt

As Mr Trent alluded, most people would struggle with what he experienced, and he's only twelve, so it definitely took a toll. For the rest, moving on is important, and it's also a slightly more enjoyable read. It's nice to be able to start moving back into the fun stuff. Thanks again for the comment (and for paying what you owed hehehe)

2021-10-15 22:22:11 +0000 UTCI'm actually really surprised how quickly Josh rebounded from the abuse, while Danny is the one having problems. I know it was a very traumatic experience for Danny having to face Josh on the roof, but it should've been 10 times worse for Josh actually facing the abuse. To be honest, I wanted to flick Danny’s ear myself a couple of times, especially when he basically ignored Josh after he was released from Covid jail :D Anyway, it's nice to see some broken relationships finally starting to mend and I hope we'll soon see Danny go back to normal and start exploring his fetishes again ;) I'm not too worried about him, I hope I'm not wrong...

He doesn’t realize yet what exactly he did and how it’s effecting him, but I think he will soon and I have a pretty bad feeling about that. Everything else…seems to be on the mend! Glad to see some of the interactions between the boys and an especially happy to see Josh doing better! Great chapter, will be waiting for the next one eagerly! (Also…I think I owe you something! 🥺)
