Q&A with Matt #1

Comments

It's always a shame when an education system drains the creativity out of someone. It's one of the reasons I truly hate most schools (and I guess why I created my own idea for one!) I'm definitely with you on the criteria for stories I enjoy on Nifty. They can be so hard to find though. It makes me really happy to think mine are appreciated at that level. You should consider writing again. I've spent many years not doing it and just got back into it again. It's never too late!

Interesting. I just get to read this one (no idea why it "floated" upon the water now) but now I know a bit more about you and your writing. I'm a few years older than you, and my first "novel" writing was when I was in elementary school (hand-written... not typewriter though), inspired by "The Famous Five" (Chinese translated version). But sadly my inspiration and passion of writing was killed by our education - competing for getting to a good high school and university. I started writing (and first published on Nifty) in 2007 and ended in 2012. Nothing compared to your writings, though. Stories I selected to read on Nifty, the conditions are exactly the same with you: 1. A good/engaging storyline, 2. being well written from a spelling, grammar and punctuation perspective and 3. Regular updates/actually getting completed. I focus more on the storyline than sexual scenes, so it was okay for me to read a good story without sex (I read a very good Sherlock Holmes story on Nifty last year, no sexual scene but it involved some sexual incidences.) It really needs some luck to find such stories on Nifty. I usually just read the first few paragraphs to decide if I will read on. As I have said, I'm not native English reader/writer, so reading English stories can be really difficult (sometimes even made my head ache) if they're not well written. You can still find some though, if there're some friends introducing. (So believe me when I told you your stories are easy to read. My reading the whole book 3 and book 4 so far is proving it enough. :D )

I really enjoyed this Q&A :) Thanks for giving us an insight into your mind and some glimpses into your personal life. I'm sorry about your 40th birthday being in the middle of lockdown, but I guess most of our recent birthdays sucked for the exact same reason hehe. I'm glad you managed to do some writing though. You seem to have some serious discipline when it comes to that and I really hope you'll be able to do this full time one day. Offering more Patreon exclusive content is definitely a step in the right direction to grow the community. Interactive stories might help with that too. You can definitely count on my support ;) And thanks for your Nifty recommendations! Some of them are new to me and I'll make sure to check them out. It really is insanely hard to find stories that are both interesting and well written and on top of that actually finished. Authors who manage to do that are extremely rare, you are almost unique in that regard. In general my favorite stories are the ones that can make me laugh, cry and jerk off :D A few stories that I enjoyed recently, that are still ongoing: - Band boy (highschool) - a lovely heartbreaking 4-part story between 2 highschool boys, not really kinky, includes some abuse and homophobia - Society boys (highschool) - it's a story about a secret society for gay boys, includes some kinks like bdsm, watersports, (tw)incest, but it's not a primary focus - My boyfriend and my two dads (incest) - includes incest and some other kinks Thanks for reminding us to reach out to authors when we like the story. I did send a message to some authors, but I'll make sure to do it more consistently.

This was really fun to read, and I like knowing a bit more about you. I hope you do end up having time for a voted on story. :) Thank you for answering my question also. You’ve written your way into my fantasies in more kinky ways than one!
