Hi Robert, really glad you enjoyed this chapter. Danny's family holiday is definitely going to be different from Chris' (and definitely not drama free!!) Book four is shaping up nicely, I can't wait to start posting it.

I keep re-reading this chapter because it just has so many heartwarming moments and it is nice to be a little bit drama-free (as drama-free as it can be when Danny is involved haha). Super excited to see the end to this side story and a little bit anxious about what troubles could await in Book 4.

I think most boys end up a bit self-conscious about their families, but after the wealth and extravagance of Chris's family, Danny has it extra bad! Finn will definitely show up again later, I just really enjoy writing him and Danny together (and spoiler alert, he appears briefly in the Book four binus story, which is set at Christmas this time). As for Finn and Edward, it's unlikely. As much as Finn likes Danny, he genuinely is straight. Glad you enjoyed the summary of the other boys. As much as this is Chris and Danny's story, I like to show that the other characters are still out there enjoying their summer!

2024-03-18 22:43:43 +0000 UTCDanny is self-conscious about his family, I guess that's a pretty normal reaction from a teenager, though I'm sure Chris doesn't care at all. I think Matt is really good at catching how teens would think and react. I think Matt has already taken care about Finn, probably in the later chapters or later books in Kingswood Saga. But Finn and Edward? Sounds a good solution, ha. “Mikey says it’s so cute he actually threw up, David said hello daddy and Rob said only you could go on holiday and bring an actual boy home as a souvenir!” It made me laugh out loud. :~D
