Theoretically it could be Will, who would now be in Year 13, and would certainly know about chastity devices, but it would surprise me if Will decided to reestablish a connection. A slightly more plausible candidate might be the kid who, in Year 7, was such a thorn in Nicky's side when Nicky was in Year 8 (I can't remember his name), but that too seems not very likely. Also, I don't recall whether this lottery was open to all the upper years or only the current Year 10. I can't really see any story value in someone like Adrian or Kyle or Jazz. As for Grayson, we are told in the character summary, "Gray was cautious about coming to Kingswood, partly because it was completely new territory for him, but also because he was reluctant to leave his dad on his own. He was eventually convinced by the opportunities Kingswood could bring, especially for him to explore his sexuality, having recently reached the realisation he was not straight. Having never had a girlfriend and only just beginning to consider the possibility of dating boys, Gray remained largely inexperienced in sexual matters, outside of his own masturbatory habits." This does not sound like a guy who would have thought up Nicky's ordeal, UNLESS he was being coached. Hence my suspicions of Mikey and/or David. (And I still haven't given up on Chris, who has his own history with Nicky.) Guess we'll have to wait to find out.
