Adding a new main character to the group was a risk, but it's totally paid off. He's such a fun addition to the group and I can't wait for you to see how his character grows through the rest of the books. Rob... controlling things? No, he never does that! Next you'll be telling me he's got jealousy issues too lol Mikey definitely needs help, but sometimes the first step is the hardest. James and David are fun together. Too many bottoms is a real-world problem that felt very important to highlight in my story haha

2024-08-11 08:30:18 +0000 UTCFor such a low-key character, I've really enjoyed writing James. He's had a kind of quiet development that is easy to miss. He has some truly wonderful moments coming up through book 4. Mikey is adorable and complex and problematic and sweet. He's an absolute joy to write. All the best friend pairings were enjoyable to create, but Mikey and Nicky is probably the most complex. I loved watching it happen. Milo and Rob - nobody fights quite like brothers! Mark and Josh are very sweet together, but why would Rob be an issue? He's NEVER had ANY kind of jealousy issues. I'm sure it'll be fine *innocent whistle* It's a shame Finn isn't at Kingswood. His character development with Danny is always an absolute joy to write. Never mind, I guess it just makes the brief times they do get together all the more special.

The shortage of tops in the gay community is the real world crisis we should be tackling!! @Johnny That's really sad. I couldn't imagine sending a cute guy away just for that. Even if you can't fuck, there are LOTS of other things to do!

Once in a gay sauna (not in my own country), a guy with good looking and body played with me in the steam room, then we found an empty room to go further. Then... when I told him I'd like to be the bottom, he told me, "Well, in this case, you're not my type." I just sighed and went out of the room dejectedly.

Well, both of them have, but it's good to see the sweeter side of James come out more. I just want to hug Mikey. I'm so glad he has Nicky in his life. Milo and Rob need to resolve their issue quickly. They are too good together as loving brothers. Mark and Josh scenes are so adorable. I just worry about Rob's feelings if the two of them become a couple. Happy to see a mention of Finn in this chapter. He was my favorite in the Smith family when Danny went to visit.

Even though Mark is a newer character, he is starting to feel like he's been there from the beginning. Ugh I feel bad for Rob, but also he needs to learn he can't control everything. Hope he patches things up with Milo. So glad that Nicky and Mikey talked it out. I love Mikey, he needs to talk to an adult about his problem! Omg James and David are so sweet together! Both being bottoms might be the biggest drama you've pulled yet Matt!

I'm more and more looking forward to it! - I think Rob really has some work to do. Maybe he needs help from a therapist! - I can't believe the reason that makes Mikey act that way in these chapters. Fortunately Nicky saves him for that. - And the chapter ending is so hilarious 🤣
