He's trying so hard to cheer me up, I gotta put in the effort too. He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and now it feels like everything’s gonna be alright. We ended our day by watching the fireworks as we ate our ice cream. It does have a very “date” vibe, doesn’t it? I’m starting to think I’ll really miss him when he leaves.
