“Well that was something.” Ian stated. “You guys go deep pretty quick.”

“You would know all about that wouldn’t you Mr. Bunny?” Leon and Liam both cackled. Finn looked up at Ian and managed to speak before Ian could.

“How is it that you get a nickname, but you don’t work at the Cabaret?” Finn asked daringly and with mock suspicion as he stroked his… stubble.

Finn was excited when Liam jumped in, it was like being the first one to start a slow-clap, except that this was a dog pile on Ian. “He gets an honorary nickname because during his day job he’s a performer like us.”

Finn’s eyes went wide as he looked up at Ian again, who was quicker this time.

“Nuh uh uh fucker, not like you all.” Ian even wagged his finger in the air. Not with judgement or even dismissal, just an air of refuting false accusations.

“Then what do you do at your day job? And why do they call you ‘Bunny?’” Finn made his best attempt at flirty doe-eyes, head in both of his hands with his elbows propped on the table, looking up at the bartender through eyelashes. This was cracking the brothers’ up.

“Look Sparky,” Ian turned up the suave “you’re handsome and all, but I don’t open up all at once to just anybody. All you need to know is that the rabbit is my Chinese zodiac sign.” The guffaws from the others at the table told Finn that that was not at all the whole truth, but he’d have to take a crack at it another time because Ian gave a polite smirk before heading back to behind the counter with the empty glasses.

“I’m calling you ‘Sparky’ from now on.” Finn looked at a triumphant and buzzed-looking Leon. Liam also seemed to approve of the new name.

“That’s intriguing, maybe he’s a fire-bender?” Liam side-eyed Finn and for an instant he almost wished they’d go back to talk about failed romances. He finished his drink, stretched and laced his fingers together behind his head as he devised a way to move the attention off of him.

There were no other customers in the place for Ian to attend to.

“What do you two go by?” Finn asked, looking between the two of them.

“Nothing.”                       “Twin dragons.”

Liam and Leon had spoken at the same time, but their brotherly powers weren’t in sync and Finn felt like he’d cracked some kind of code. “What dragons?” He asked.

“Twin dragons.” Leon repeated. “We’ve probably got more fire-breathing power than you, come to think of it.” He smirked and winked at his brother as Liam just shook his head.

“It was because of these costumes we did for a show a while back. We dressed up as these dragons and since then it’s kind of what we’re known for.” Liam explained.

“We breathe fire.” Leon made a claw with one hand and hissed from his open mouth simultaneously. Finn would be sure to remember that Leon essentially loses all his gravitas once he starts drinking.

“Well, maybe we should see how much of a fire-breather-bender, I am.” Finn licked his lips and wagged his eyebrows. Hmmm… can’t remember when I ate last. He looked up from his empty glass at the brothers. Leon was licking his lips and Liam’s eyes were half-hooded.

“I heard Firouz and Markus showed you a good time on your first day.” Leon stated. And his hands disappeared from on top of the table. “Maybe you can handle two fully grown dragons yourself?”

Finn could feel the horns start to protrude from his head, and then his mouth began to water. Not to mention the obvious other bodily changes. He held back for a second, before licking his lips, smirking, and letting his knees slowly bend while he leaned back and ducked under the table.
