Hahaha so I guess I don't exactly need to tell you that Ben started out as a completely different character lmao. My first take on him was meant to give more of a hipster vibe and looking back on it, I'm glad I've changed him in the end cause I like my quirky nerdy nonconformist vegan Aquarius witch much more now lmao!

I 100% want him to appear more in the comic in the future. I have managed to boil down all my OCs to a core group that I wanna explore in depth and Ben is definitely one of them. I like that he's awkward and weird, but also kinda proud of it in a way so that makes him appear cool. It's like, he knows he doesn't fit in often, but instead of sulking about it, he owns it. It's something I really admire in people and I think it's something Finn admires in Ben too.

Ben and Finn's friendship definitely started off a little bit rocky considering Ben's bestie (and roommate) is Firouz who pulled a "fun n' run" on Finn, but now that it's behind them, I think they're on their way to becoming really close... Especially if Jade's around 👀
