The Záchari & Nik Show - Episode 5 - Open Your Heart

Alright so for this one, I went in my own direction while still trying to reference Adam's ideas from his 5th and 6th stories.

Thanks again to Adam for collaborating with me on this side project, I'm enjoying it tremendously and I hope all of you do too!

Cirque de Slay

The flip chart floating next to Zachari contained a crazy tree diagram that outlined his spot in the network of which Nik was the newest part. EROS ANGEL 101 was the title. His halo now hovered over the black mortarboard on his head. In his paw was a long pointer which made a small tapping sound as it touched the flip chart. He yammered away while Nik, who was ostensibly taking notes from his place on the sofa, stared into space, his eyes glassy and unfocused. The faerie saw the blank look on the human’s face and paused his lecture.

“Nik? You okay?”

Nik close his eyes and sighed. Zachari smiled a bit and drifted over to his human. “Look, I know it’s a lot to learn at once, but you’ll get it all eventually.”

Nik’s eyes rolled up at the ceiling and his lips started forming words that had no sound. The tip of the pen in Nik’s hand bounced in the air an inch or so above the paper.

“Are you even listening to me?” demanded Zachari.

Nik’s eyes cleared and met those of his guardian faerie. “Say what?”

With a grunt of frustration, Zachari snapped his pointer in half over his knee and tossed it aside. The two broken pieces and the flip chart disappeared with a small piff sound. “I’m trying to bring you up to speed here! What the hell have you been doing all this time?” Zachari shouted. He zoomed over to Nik and snatched the legal pad out of his hand.

“Hey, gimme that!” Nik cried. He reached for it, but Zachari flew off with it and hovered well out of Nik’s grasp. As he scanned what was on the paper, his brow darkened.

“You’re still working on this piece of crap?” he said, flinging the legal pad to the floor in disgust.

“Hey, what the hell do you know about writing a good murder mystery anyway, Puffball?”

“Good?” Zachari sassed, raising one eyebrow. “Please. I figured out that the killer was the bearded lady by the third paragraph.”

Nik glanced at the pad of paper on the floor, then back at Zachari who was now regarding him with a smirk. He closed his eyes and groaned, storming off to his bedroom.

“And Cirque de Slay has gotta be the stupidest title I’ve ever read!” Zachari called before the door banged shut.

Farm Animal Porn

Nik sat on the couch with his hands in his lap while Zachari floated in front of him holding two dolls. One looked like the toy on Finn’s cell phone. The other was a generic Ken doll. He held them up facing each other and brought them together in front of his chest.

“And the we join at the heart like this. That’s when we become...what?”

Nik smiled wryly. “A scene from a farm animal porn?”

Zachari hurled the dolls at Nik who was cackling and stomping his feet on the floor.

“You know,” Zachari grated, “you’re not only an asshole, but you’re also a freak!”

“Love me or leave me,” Nik said, still laughing.

“If only I could do either!”
