Added 2025-09-25 15:34:07 +0000 UTCThose of you who join the weekly Discord streams know I often mention my asthma. Unfortunately, I’ve been living with it for about 4 years now, ever since a lung illness.
Here in Brazil we’re moving from winter into spring, which is the worst season for me. My allergies get stronger and make my asthma worse. The past three weeks have been really tough (not just because of pollen from the trees, but also because many locals burn their fields this time of year... sadly, it’s common here even though it’s illegal).
When the attacks hit, I can’t even sleep: I choke and have to wait for the crisis to pass. Sometimes I get less than 3 hours of rest. The constant coughing makes my body ache too, especially my back.
This is the main reason for my recent delays in art. The good news is that I believe I’m starting to recover. I always like to be honest with you all and share what’s really happening.
Sorry for not saying something sooner, I thought it would pass quickly.
