DJ Jades

He has been with me since the start of my career as Morgue Anne. While our relationship has evolved into many different forms over the years, we've always worked great together and maintained a working relationship. He is the one who taught me how to DJ and he constantly pushes me to improve. We have a tradition that after events or shows we will sit down (sometimes over a meal, sometimes just in the car) and go over everything - what can be improved, what was awesome. This has helped me grow so much. Jades isn't afraid to call me on my shit and I know he does it because he wants to see me succeed. It's important to review. It's important to always be looking for growth and understand how to constructively critique. Jades is great for this and while we're both imperfect people, I'm really happy that he's in my life and professional world.
