Tomorrow I'm going to post a cute and sexy selfie. It will be essentially a preview/promotional image for next month's Patreon-exclusive images. Tonight we did the shoot itself, and it was fun but it was also a lot of hard work. My day started with a process of self maintenance that goes into such shoots. Once I heard the advice "groom like it's your honeymoon" in reference to models before a shoot. This was damn good advice. Cameras are permanent records of a moment in time and the ultimate goal is to require as little Photoshop work as possible. What this means is that last night, I went through a careful skincare regime. This morning with my morning shower I went through the fun process of shaving. I have thick hair. It's not a fan of being removed and always wants to put up a fight. So the process becomes a whole ordeal that I usually reserve for very hot dates and shoots I am being paid money for. And yet even after steaming, exfoliating, shaving, plucking, and moisturizing, I still needed to apply a layer of make up to make it look "nice". Tomorrow, I'm going to post a cute and sexy selfie. I'm sure it will get a few "likes" and the finished product of tonight's photo shoot will be phenomenal as well. Those things take work to create, even if they seem frivolous. Efforts on all parts in ways most people never consider. RIP razor blade, you helped make something awesome.
