Lady Stoneheart

This character was a lot of fun to put together - not just because I love being the weird, dark, bloody girl in a room full of glitter. The character of Lady Stoneheart is a dark and murderous one full of rage, and I can absolutely dig it. After watching her own son be murdered, she went mad with grief and clawed at her face before her throat was slit. In defiance of her traditional burial practices, her body was unceremoniously dumped naked in the river, which is how she came to wash up on shore where the Brothers Without Banners found her and brought her back to life. Whereupon she pretty much took over and went on a murder-spree of anyone and everyone who was even remotely connected to the deaths of her family members. To convey this, I started my act by strangling the character who played Little Finger and stripped to AFI's "Love Like Winter" with much clawing at myself, angry thrusts at the audience, and a whole lot of slamming a prop skull around (which broke on the second night!). It gave me an opportunity to buy my own jar of Ben Nye's 'Scab Blood' which I used to create the sliced neck and facial scratches. Not sure if this particular act will ever see the light of day again, although it lives on in concepts and learned tricks that will serve me well.
