Not only does this episode change the Ice King, it also changes the entire world. If you didn't already figure it out by now, this episode confirms that Ooo is Earth, or at least it was. Simon even mentioned Scandinavia, and we seen regular buildings and technology. So what happened to the world? Also yes, Simon was a human, so that's crazy too.
