Hello. I've turned on healthy year round but it doesn't work. I checked the ini and t's set correctly . I even tried with only the seasons tuner mod installed. Is it broken?

The mod doesn't need an update right now. I think people assume it's broken just because it hasn't needed updating in a while. Not every mod breaks folks. It works well for me still. Any errors could be mod incompatibilities or badly set up CC plants. When I made this mod I made custom interactions with code that is careful about not throwing out a ton of errors. It is fundamentally the same as the first day I released it as EA has not made changes to how plants work in such a significant way as to break the mod. I try very hard to future-proof any mod I make.

These cheats are part of the mod, not the game itself. You need the mod installed for them to work, but unfortunately you can't have mods on console.

I used your guides religiously for my Sims 3 phase and recently got back into Sims 4 and was so pleased to find that not only are you still going with Sims 4 Guides, but you've got a whole suite of awesome mods! Just installed a bunch, many thanks in advance for refining and enhancing my game! :D Just wanted to let you know I discovered a small bug, the Residential Rental mailbox doesn't provide the Seasons Settings... menu option. It shows Make Sunny and Carl Settings... menu from GO, but I had to go grab a regular mailbox from BB to access the Seasons Settings... menu. Thanks so much for your tireless efforts, you rock!!!

I am having an issue. My settings are set for "Always Healthy" and "No Color Changes." My plants still turn to twigs outside. They are fine in a greenhouse, but as soon as I move a plant outside, even if it's still sheltered, it turns to twigs. I was running this with Little Miss Sam's workaround for the plants turning to dirt piles and everything was working until recently. I've tried turning Eco footprint off--didn't work. Even with no mods except this one, and with "Always in Season" turned on, my plants remain brown and/or twigs. In season and out-of-season plants are affected. Am I missing something? I even deleted and re-downloaded the mod just in case my version was outdated.

evolve all doesnt work, still have to go to each plant and do it, I checked to make sure i didnt have any other plant related mods and that I didnt have your Fertilize all/evolve all mod as well. And I checked for conflicting mods, and none showed up.

Yeah didn't realise till after I commented, with the mod the option for residential rentals is no longer there as well.

Yeah I'm having this issue with it breaking the for rent lots. I had taken out all mods and the last one I re-installed and the option to mark a lot as Residential Rental is missing in my game.

Hi, Just a heads up this mod breaks the Residential Rental venue type with the new expansion. I am not sure why, but after testing when it is installed it prevents you from being able to change a lot (that has been converted from a residential lot to a rental lot) back to a residential lot, as the lot is stuck as ‘Special Venue’ type. Similar mods such as Littliemisssims more buyable venues lot also break the game in this way. Love the mods btw!

that still happens to me. I genuinely forgot what mod I have installed that allows me to just shift click on the plant and I force it back to bloom and then just have my sim stay at home till the next morning to be able to harvest. It's annoying but ut's my work around.

It's a persisting issue, in game, unrelated to the Season's tuner mod.

Hi Carl, I still seem to have the plants/trees returning to soil patches for some reason? Not sure if this is linked to the MOD or a game issue? Have you seen anyone else report this bug? I know EA said they'd fixed it, but I still seem to have it, even after repairing the game.. I have all packs, expansions etc. Any help greatly appreciated thank you :)

Hiya, I was wondering if this has been updated. I can set it to always Sunny, but it will not let me turn it off, or turn anything else on. I Like it to be always sunny, until Winter, and then I like the snow and blizzards, but it will not turn back on. I don't think I have any other mod that affects the weather.

Hi! I've noticed that I can't place certain lot types like Rec Center, BubbleTea Store or Wedding Venue, and I've tracked the issue back to this mod. Not sure what caused it, but... yeah. I thought I'd let you know. I've been relying a lot on this mod, so it's a shame because I can't use it as of now.

Mine is working ok as long as i use lilmssams mod along with it that keeps things from reverting back but I do get LE's. with this mod showing as the cause but not sure if it is because of the mod or if it is conflicting with lilmssams mod.

I'm still using this mod, but my plants are reverting to dirt piles again as if not in season, even though I've selected in Season. Not sure if this is due to the recent updates (been going on a while now), or if another mod is affecting it.

Hey Carl. Hope you're doing ok. "Always in season" is unfortunately not working 100%. It did until I changed gameplay settings in MCCC to slow down the day by 25 instead of 35 (or was it 35 to 25). I deleted seasons tuner mod in case it got broken because of this change, changed back MCCC time settings to default, and reinstalled seasons tuner, but the problem is still there. The plants states they're always in season but clearly they are not all in season all the time as some turn into dirt piles as they do when not in season. Also, the calendar is weird but I think that is because of MCCC? I deleted this mod as well and reinstalled but it did not change anything. Cottage living fairs which should be every saturday is now pushed to once a week or every 10 days. Have you countered anything like this? Or anyone else? Be happy to hear from you. Oh, and I have checked that I got the latest mods. All the best

Hey Carl. It seems since the latest patch, seasons tuner stopped working and is throwing an exception. Tested with Seasons Tuner only. Exception is too long to paste here, so I will send it over on Discord.

Hey Carl, I'm wondering why you gave Newcrest special treatment in the package file? You have a hardcoded venue list. For me, it was conflicting with LittleMsSam's More Buyable Venues, where the ownable venues weren't showing up. I narrowed it down to this mod. I removed the Newcrest region entries and now I can select the ownable venues. Not sure if anything else will be affected?

I want to try out this mod because I have been looking for variable season length so I am wondering if I can achieve that with this. Basically I want fall, winter and spring to last 7 days (my default setting) and summer to last 14 days. Will that be possible with this mod? Can I turn off fall until day 14 of summer and then turn it back on and not need to restart my game to have it take effect?

For me to help, you need to give me a bit more info. This is a seasons changing/tuning mod so if it is messing with your Sims' free will, it'd be very strange. It doesn't mean something can't go wrong, but it's just not easy for me to tell how. I'm not sure which NPC you mean as well.

Hello again! I finally got the mod to work by having it in only one subfolder. I originally had it in /mods/carls sims 4/seasons tuner/. It now works as /mods/seasons tuner/. My resource.cfg file supports up to 6 subfolders, maybe that would help in figuring out what is going on?

Hello, I also can't get this mod to work at all, I removed all my mods and CC, cleared the localthumbcache, and clicking/shift clicking mailbox does not show the tuner. I downloaded the files using 'save as' and made sure it wasn't set to ZIP archive.

Hi Alyse, I have worked to get my mods into zips over time because some of them get corrupted during download due to some wacky shit the browser does to them. Is it possible you can try right-clicking the files and using save as, so that they will not be modified... and in the next couple days I'll try to get these moved over to zips :)

Hi Carl, I love your mods and your website has been my go to since Sims 2! I just wondered if you could/would consider adding in a way to disable random spawning of roller rinks and food vendors in worlds? I believe this is part of Seasons. I hate it! It makes playing a History challenge nigh impossible because my Celtic sims shouldn't be roller skating and eating hot dogs. Thanks for all you do for the Sims community!

I have plants under shelter that aren't growing - they're ones that were 'out of season' before I enabled your mod setting. Hope this makes sense - I guess I'm asking, we don't need shelters at all now do we with your mod..?

Dirt pile fix and being able to disable seasons and branchy trees are godsends. And the DU bot fix. I made a farm fully intending to be automated by bots, but they literally just did nothing. Really excited to see if this fixed that.

Try deleting your localthumbcache.package file and it should fix the issue

Hey Carl, quick question: Whenever I choose the "Make Sunny" option (for holidays or other planned outdoor activities), the weather seems to be stuck on sunny forever, no matter how often I turn the option off again via mailbox. Even after reloading the save. Am I doing something wrong here?

Just so everyone knows, me and Tee Jay got it sorted out and it's why there is a new update today. Your bee boxes won't grow like plants any more. I hope!

Hey there. You could try to help me a bit - 3 things you can send me. Any lastexceptions in your Sims 4 folder then in Sims 4/Mods you can attach seasons_tuner.log. Lastly you could send me your save file. Send as many as you can to carl@carlsguides.com and I'll take a look. I am hoping it's not just a mod conflict and also hope you have both files/script mods enabled in options. Just a check, not to be patronizing just gotta go with the most obvious first.

Hi Carl, After installing this MOD I've noticed that my bee box has stopped working. No matter how many times I "bond with bees" the bar never goes any higher so I can't collect honey or collect swarm. Also, I've sat and watched both the bee box & my crops & the bees never go out & pollinate my surrounding plants. I LOVE the fertilize all option & the evolve all so I want to keep using this but anyone else having problem with their bee boxes?

I have MC Command and a few Little Ms Sams in there, UI Cheats by Weerbesu and thats about it. I have never seen plants say anything but normal, nice, excellent etc until now, but I will do some investigating on my end and let you know the outcome. If I get the same results with just your mod I will indeed send you the results, thanks for the reply. :)

when i have always in season and always healthy cheats on, the plants get planted then slowly fade away. my sim repeats doing the planting on a loop. i also dont have the options on my mailbox either
