Added 2020-01-26 00:48:00 +0000 UTCHi all, lately i havent been shifting away from vore, recent coms have just happened to be whatever was requested of me. I have some vorish ones lined up.
And on that note, im trying out a new com structure, originally i was doing speed coms only, capped at $6USD, but, certain things cant not be drawn well, especially when its a new pose/angle/species, so, instead, now it can go either way, for all coms going forward, commissioners will need to set a budget, then the final price will be negotiable upon seeing the finished product, people are generally pretty honest about this and worst case theres no way i can overcharge, according to what ive been told about the value of my art.
This is moreso just a contingency for situations like i had with the Sonara and Ampere coms, where, where the sheer amount of effort and time respectively to execute the idea far outweighed the original offer, and i cant just turn around and ask for more, but i also cant really tell what way its going to go until im drawing it, if itle be a successful speed com, or something i have to complete over several days.
I feel this approach will work well, and its quite reasonable, i think as a general rule, for anything with multiple panels or a story element, id ask for a budget of $12-15, afterwards, ill say how much i think its worth, you can say how much you think its worth if you think its less, and from there we can negotiate. By that point its not like ill withhold the art over a few bucks, but if theres a major difference there will probably be a good reason for that.
Anyway, looking forward to getting some more vorish coms from everyone :P
