A poem with such rhythm and emotion it tells a story that moves. It doesn't have to be insane multiple entendres to be a masterful track. Your head is crooked on this one

The way he painted the picture was extremely poetic, and you didn't notice anything. "Ballers flossin in their Pathfinders" a Pathfinder isn't an expensive car, but Marshall's SO POOR to him their Rich! The way he brings up his daughter in each verse makes you empathize more, cuz he's not just fighting for himself, but also the child he loves more than anything. If you weren't grumpy about not liking SSLP, this would've been EASILY a 20 minute video.

2020-08-16 20:36:47 +0000 UTCA lot of the songs were written pre-Dre and lifted directly from SSEP but Dre cleaned them up and had the same involvement overseeing this one as the next two. Dre really only produced a hand full of songs on those albums two. Eminem himself actually started producing his own stuff round then, like The Way I Am and Till I Collapse are both Em joints. The majority of his 1st 3 albums were produced by the Bass brothers......which is why the masters and royalties from those albums are so complicated. The Bass brothers owned the masters for years, but they sold them off by % in auction, so now LOADS of people own % portions of his songs from then..a mess🤦♂️ I think the album Dre had the biggest direct hand in producing is actually Relapse, but I'd have to double check.
